Chimp trekking will be done alongside nature walks and community tours in and around Kibale Forest park. The 7 Days adventure also involve visiting Queen Elizabeth National park, Uganda’s second largest and popular park. Queen elizabeth is popular for game viewing in Kasenyi plains and boat cruise at Kazinga channel.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park is another popular destination you will visit on this 7 Days safari. Located in south western Uganda, Bwindi is home to the highest population of mountain gorillas in the whole world.
The park is believed to host over 450 mountain gorillas which live together in 21 groups.These are Habinyanja, Kyaguriro, Rushegura, Mubare, Nshongi, Bweza, Christmas, Oruzogo, Kutu, Rwigi, Mishaya, Kuhungye, Katwe and Nkuringo gorilla groups among others. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest takes place in any of the four regions (Buhoma, Rushaga, Nkuringo and Ruhija) which make up the park. Each gorilla permit in Uganda costs $700 for foreign non residents, $600 for foreign residents and UGX 250,000 for East African Citizen.
The Rushaga sector of Bwindi also offers memorial gorilla habituation experience (@ $1500) allowing you to spend 4 hours with the gorillas undergoing training.
Lake Mburo National park will be your last destination on this 7 Days Uganda safari. The park hosts the highest population of zebras in the Pearl of Africa which make it unique from other parks. Game drives in the park will offer you scenic views of other wild animals such as Giraffes, spotted hyenas, Uganda kobs, wild pigs, waterbucks, warthogs and buffalos among others. A safari in Lake Mburo National Park also entails a boat cruise at Lake Mburo.
